1. Promotion of Education

  • Non-Formal Education (Functional Literacy) in 30 villages
  • Student Educational cum leadership camps for 1200 students
  • Educational Scholarship to 32000 students from poor families
  • School infrastructure (Class rooms, compound wall, drinking water and teaching Aids to 6 villages)
  • Evening coaching class in 40 villages
  • Campaign for 100% enrolment in the school every year.
  • School drop-out survey in one block
  • Literacy (Signature campaign to 3000 women)
  • Residential school for drop-out girls 6th to 8th Std. for 50 students

2. Poverty Reduction

  • Inculcated small savings among 65,000 families and saved Rs.1168 Million
  • Emergency Internal lending – Rs. 4627 Million
  • Revolving fund for livelihood promotion Rs.100 million.
  • Credit linkages for Income Generation Activities Rs.5142 Millions.
  • Assisted 30 HIV Positives Rs.1.5 million.
  • Tiny and Micro enterprises 1200 families.

3. Women Empowerment

  • Women Association formed in 10 villages
  • Formed 6000 Women Self Help Groups and 200 SHGs for Men
  • Formation of 9 Cluster Resource Centers consisting of 750 SHGs for women development
  • Motivated 500 women to contest in the Local Body Election
  • Supported issues pertaining to violence against women
  • Awareness women conference every year for 3000 women
  • Gender Sensitization to 2000 leaders of SHGs and 2000 Police personnel
  • Skill training on Technical and Managerial skills imparted
  • Entrepreneur Development Training to 1200 women
  • 4000 women farmers (small & marginal) trained in promoting agriculture products

  • Emergency Ambulance services in 4 blocks
  • Patient Counseling in 2 Govt. Hospitals
  • Medical Camps in Disaster affected areas
  • Conducted 29 eye camps
  • Elimination of Open Defecation programme in 240 Habitations
  • Construction of 19000 House hold toilets
  • HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns and training
  • HIV /AIDS training imparted to 200 SHG leaders
  • Clean drinking water facility to 5 villages
  • Solar Energy – Introducing Solar devices
  • Promoted smokeless chula and 30000 tree plantation

5. Housing & Shelters

  • Constructed more than 1500 Hazard-safe houses in 10 villages
  • Third party facilitation for construction of World Bank assisted 1748 houses for fishing communities

6. Disaster Risk Management

  • Immediate relief to Disaster affected 12000 families
  • Built 20 Disaster Resilience communities
  • Constructed 21 Disaster-Safe centers in 12 villages
  • Training to Elected local Panchayat Leaders for Disaster pro-activity
  • Formed Task Force Committees and Rescue teams in 20 villages
