Aim: Livelihood promotion aims to enhance the capabilities and assets of poor households, enabling them to engage in sustainable economic activities. By combining skill development, access to credit, market linkages, and community-based enterprise models, we seek to create self-reliant and resilient communities.
Poverty Reduction
- Inculcated small savings among 65,000 families and saved Rs. 1168 Million.
- Emergency internal lending – Rs. 4627 Million.
- Revolving fund for livelihood promotion – Rs. 100 Million.
- Credit linkages for income generation activities – Rs. 5142 Million.
- Assisted 30 HIV-positive persons – Rs. 1.5 Million.
- Tiny and micro enterprises supported for 1200 families.
Social Security Schemes (Risk Transformation)
Main Activities
- Creating awareness on insuring lives & livelihoods.
- Disseminating information on different social security programs.
- Linking them with group insurance programs and products meant for the poor.
- Hand-holding support to get claims for affected families.
Impact
- Risks are covered by the insurance agencies.
- All the insured families feel secured and have a guarantee for risk coverage.
