Women Farmers Producer Groups (MKSP)
The Small & Marginal Women Farmers Development Programme [MKSP] has been initiated in collaboration with the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). It is implemented through the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihoods Mission in Viluppuram District.
All 74 producer groups formed in two blocks have successfully opened bank accounts in their proximity, ensuring financial inclusion.

Terracotta Producer Company
More than 2000 terracotta artisans are scattered in different parts of Villupuram district. Most belong to a particular social group and traditionally rely on this craft for their livelihood. Villupuram is uniquely famous for Statues of Lord Ganesh in different sizes, alongside toys and ornamental articles.
However, most artisans live below the poverty line and lack modern technological skills. Hence, we initiated this timely intervention.
